Job Description

Outrigger Resorts & Hotels is a distinguished hospitality company dedicated to embracing the cultures and communities where our properties operate, with a deep commitment to practicing aloha in every aspect of our business. As a well-established leader in the hotel and resort industry, Outrigger offers guests authentic and memorable experiences while fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere among employees and guests alike. Our organization prides itself on a values-driven culture where every team member, or 'ohana, is encouraged to embody and extend aloha, promoting genuine care and respect in all interactions—whether with guests, colleagues, or community members. At Outrigger, we believe that a strong sense of purpose and engagement not only fuels personal fulfillment but also drives exceptional service and business success.

The role of Vice President (VP) of Sales is a key leadership position within Outrigger Resorts & Hotels, particularly focusing on our diverse portfolio in Hawaii, including our Hawaii Vacation Condos. This role is integral to advancing our commercial strategy by partnering with enterprise stakeholders to create and implement cohesive, integrated sales strategies that maximize revenue opportunities at both the property and portfolio levels. The VP Sales assumes responsibility for leading sales planning and execution across various asset types, including branded, managed, and franchise assets, with a special emphasis on Outrigger’s core owned portfolio.

This position involves aligning sales structures, processes, performance metrics, and incentive programs across multiple segments including group sales, military and government sectors, leisure and organizational events, and weddings. A critical aspect of this role is driving collaboration with property-level leadership as well as managing centralized sales teams, contractor networks, and Group Sales Market Representatives (GSMR) to ensure enterprise-wide sales targets and growth objectives are achieved.

Success in this role demands not only strong sales acumen and strategic thinking but also exceptional leadership and communication skills. The VP Sales must be capable of continuously optimizing sales strategies that support growth, improve revenue mix, and enhance competitive positioning in a dynamic marketplace. Attention to market trends and customer insights, combined with the ability to lead diverse teams across multiple properties, are essential qualities for driving business results in this multifaceted environment.

This full-time leadership opportunity provides a competitive starting salary range between $176,000 and $193,000 annually, with potential for higher compensation based on the candidate’s skills, industry experience, and education level. Additionally, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employee health, work-life balance, and professional development, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for ongoing training and career growth. At Outrigger Resorts & Hotels, joining our team means becoming part of a vibrant company culture that truly values and practices aloha.
