Job Description

Aimbridge Hospitality is the world’s leading global hospitality management company, boasting a portfolio of over 80 respected hotel brands. The company prides itself on setting the new standard for hospitality excellence by fostering a culture grounded in trust, strong partnerships, and exceptional guest experiences. Aimbridge’s commitment to being the most trusted hotel operator and employer reflects its dedication to both its partners and team members, driving a positive and productive work environment.

The Vice President of Claims at Aimbridge plays a critical leadership role overseeing the company’s Workers’ Compensation and Liability Claims programs. This executive position focuses on strategic management to control costs and improve outcomes, ensuring that claims are handled efficiently and effectively across multi-state and multi-site environments. This role leads a lean claims team and partners across business units to drive practices that reduce risk, mitigate long-term insurance expenses, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

With a significant emphasis on strategy, cost control, and stronger outcomes, the Vice President of Claims is pivotal in managing Aimbridge’s claims governance. This person is responsible for providing insight and leadership in areas such as early return-to-work initiatives, claim closure activities, indemnity exposure reduction, and comprehensive cost mitigation efforts. They work closely with Third Party Administrators (TPAs), legal teams, human resources, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective handling of claims, including complex leave and accommodation issues.

This senior role also oversees liability claims programs including general liability, auto liability, and other casualty exposures within Aimbridge’s extensive portfolio. The Vice President leads investigations, evaluations, litigation strategies, and resolution processes in collaboration with Liability Claims Managers, TPAs, legal counsel, and insurance carriers. Acting as the escalation point for high severity or complex claims, they also resolve coverage disputes and manage settlements while ensuring thorough KPI reporting.

Moreover, the Vice President of Claims drives program development and risk management initiatives that improve safety, operational efficiencies, and loss reduction. By analyzing claims insights, this leader supports the development of prevention strategies, safety training, and revised operating procedures, partnering with safety and operational teams to identify root causes and address key loss drivers.

Claim analytics and dashboards are a core part of this role, enabling performance tracking, trend analysis, and financial impact monitoring. The Vice President is also charged with enhancing incident and claim data capture to support more accurate analytics and effective benchmarking.

Maintaining strong, productive relationships with insurance carriers, TPAs, defense counsel, and brokers is essential to advocate for the company during insurance renewals and to drive improvement in claim outcomes and service standards. Leadership duties include mentoring and developing the claims team, ensuring consistent, ethical, and compliant claims practices organization-wide, and reporting claim performance and financial impacts to the company’s leadership and ownership.

Following an initial waiting period, this full-time role offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability income, term life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan. Aimbridge also now offers a daily pay option, providing additional financial flexibility.

This role provides a rewarding opportunity to lead a critical function within a respected global hospitality company dedicated to excellence in operations and guest services. Eligible candidates will find a dynamic environment where leadership, strategy, and collaboration are key to delivering superior risk management and claim solutions for a diverse and growing portfolio.
