Job Description
Integral Senior Living (ISL) is a premier senior living management company dedicated to providing exceptional care and lifestyle-oriented services across California and its neighboring areas. Specializing in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, Integral Senior Living oversees numerous communities that serve thousands of residents and their families throughout the region. The company is well-regarded in the industry, not only for its high standards of residential care but also for its commitment to creating vibrant and supportive environments where seniors can thrive. This dedication is reflected in the company's Culture Keepers ethos, which emphasizes purpose-driven work, respect, and community-centered values. Integral Senior Living is proud to be part of one of the largest senior living organizations in the nation, and its communities have consistently earned Great Place to Work4 certifications from 2022 through 2026, showcasing the companys positive work culture and employee satisfaction.
The role of the Generations Vibrant Life Coordinator is central to the quality of life experienced by residents within the Generations/Memory Care programs. This position involves organizing, planning, facilitating, and directing activities and events that promote physical, mental, and psychological well-being of memory care residents. The coordinator works under the guidance of the Generations Program Director and in alignment with ISL's standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. This role is designated for communities with a Generations population of 35 or more residents, signifying its importance in managing a vibrant and engaging program within larger care settings. The coordinator ensures that activities cater to the diverse cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds of the residents, actively promoting participation and engagement. Additionally, this role requires collaboration with staff, families, and community members to enhance social interaction and life enrichment opportunities.
Beyond the direct management of activities, the Vibrant Life Coordinator also contributes to staff management by making recommendations related to evaluations, merit increases, disciplinary actions, and training initiatives. The ability to coordinate transportation and special events, maintain ongoing continuing education, and assist in marketing efforts also form integral parts of the job. The role demands a mix of creative program development, operational excellence, leadership, and compassionate engagement with seniors living with memory challenges such as Alzheimer's and dementia. Integral Senior Living offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid time off, holidays, and a 401(k) plan with company matching. This position offers a meaningful career path for those passionate about senior care and community enrichment, with ongoing professional development opportunities to support career growth and fulfillment.
