We are currently seeking new Driver Partners to join our dynamic team in Newport News. As a Driver Partner with Via, you will have the unique opportunity to earn up to $19.50 per hour (net, after vehicle-related expenses) while enjoying the flexibility and autonomy of being your own boss. If you do not wish to use your personal vehicle, you can lease a vehicle through one of our vehicle leasing partners, allowing you to avoid wear and tear on your own car while maintaining the ability to serve passengers through our platform.

To excel in this role, candidates must meet a specific set of eligibility criteria, including being at least 25 years old, possessing more than one year of driving experience, and holding a personal auto insurance policy. All Driver Partners must pass background checks, including criminal and motor vehicle record verification, as well as complete DOT drug and alcohol testing in compliance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) regulations. A Social Security Number (SSN) is required for these checks. The onboarding process includes completing a training session to familiarize yourself with our platform and standards.
