BluePearl Pet Hospital in Spring, TX, is a leading provider of specialty and emergency veterinary care for pets. As part of the Mars Veterinary Health family, BluePearl is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and improving the lives of pets and their families through innovative medicine, compassionate service, and ongoing professional development. The hospital environment fosters a family-like culture where teamwork and mutual respect help create a positive workplace atmosphere. BluePearl offers a range of benefits supporting the health and financial well-being of its associates, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options, as well as parental leave, flexible work schedules, retirement planning, and paid time off.
The Veterinary Technician Trainer role at BluePearl Pet Hospital is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, energetic, and passionate licensed veterinary technician (LVT) to join a dynamic team dedicated to patient care and staff development. This position primarily involves delivering exceptional nursing care to pets while also facilitating on-site staff training, ensuring team members meet continuing education requirements, and implementing new global and company-wide training programs. The Vet Tech Trainer works closely with hospital staff, leadership, and the national Technician Trainer to maintain high standards of veterinary nursing and education.
A key responsibility is to maintain proficiency as an active Veterinary Technician Level III or higher, regularly updating skillsets and competencies relevant to the hospital department. The Trainer actively supports the ongoing growth and education of all veterinary technicians and assistants, fostering strong working relationships among staff to elevate the quality of patient care. This role also emphasizes documentation, reporting training progress to leadership, and contributing to the development of new training programs and digital content aimed at staff retention and education.
This position requires someone with a proven ability to deliver effective training and an understanding of educational best practices. Previous experience in supervisory roles or education is preferred, as is familiarity with BluePearl's operational standards. The veterinary technician trainer plays a vital role in shaping the hospital's clinical team, supporting individual growth, and ensuring continued excellence in veterinary nursing through structured learning and engagement.
BluePearl Pet Hospital is committed to diversity and inclusion, providing equal employment opportunities and accommodations for applicants with disabilities. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, and applicants must have current, unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. If you are a dedicated veterinary technician seeking to make a significant impact through education, compassion, and leadership, BluePearl offers a rewarding and supportive environment to advance your career while making a difference in the lives of pets and their families.
