The current opening is for a full-time Veterinary Technician or Assistant position on the Radiation Therapy (RT) Oncology Team, tailored for professionals with experience or strong interest in oncology care. This role offers the opportunity to work closely alongside the Radiation Oncologist in a specialized setting dedicated to treating pets diagnosed with various forms of cancer. The position features a consistent day shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing an attractive work-life balance for team members. Compensation ranges from $18 to $25 per hour, negotiable based on the candidate's experience, education, and credentials. The job location is in Texas and candidates should have transferable credentials or be VTNE eligible to apply.

The primary responsibility of the Oncology Veterinary Technician or Assistant is to support advanced radiation therapy procedures by monitoring anesthesia, operating CT equipment, performing expert phlebotomy, and providing compassionate physical support to patients during treatment sessions.
