Job Description
San Marin Animal Hospital is a well-established veterinary practice located in Novato, California, committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care for cats and dogs. This general practice is supported by a team of four experienced doctors who specialize in preventive wellness, surgery, dentistry, and integrative therapies such as laser therapy and acupuncture. San Marin Animal Hospital places a strong emphasis on building meaningful and trustworthy relationships with clients through clear communication and a genuine love for animals. The hospital fosters a collaborative and easygoing work environment that values adaptability, continuous learning, mentorship, and above all, professionalism and integrity. The team at SMAH treats every pet as if they were their own family member, ensuring that every animal receives individualized, thoughtful care customized to their needs.
We are currently seeking to hire an experienced CSR Supervisor to join our team in a hands-on leadership role. This full-time position offers a 4/10 schedule, currently Monday through Friday, with the potential for future Saturday hours. Compensation ranges from $28 to $32 per hour, with pay based on the applicant's relevant education, training, experience, geographic location, and other factors. Comprehensive full-time benefits accompany this role, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, competitive paid time off policies, life insurance, disability coverage, 401k options, an employee assistance program, and a generous personal pet discount.
The CSR Supervisor is primarily responsible for managing the daily workflow at the front desk, ensuring adequate coverage during breaks and busy periods, and creating an efficient and positive experience for both clients and patients. This role requires a leader who is emotionally intelligent and passionate about mentoring and developing team members. The successful candidate will be adept at coaching, delegating responsibilities, and maintaining high standards of client care and hospital policy adherence. They will also assist in resolving client complaints and participate in marketing initiatives to support business growth. This position demands excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a calm problem-solving attitude under pressure. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment and demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and collaborative leadership qualities.
