Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a veterinary or medical office preferred
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • excellent communication skills
  • confidence discussing financial transactions
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to remain calm under pressure
  • team-oriented attitude
  • availability to work four ten-hour shifts Monday through Saturday

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office preferred

  • comfort discussing estimates and payments professionally
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in busy or emotional situations

Job Duties

  • Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally
  • answer phones and manage high call volume efficiently
  • schedule appointments across a multi-doctor calendar
  • check patients in and out accurately
  • review estimates and invoices with clarity and confidence
  • collect payments and process transactions accurately
  • communicate hospital policies and service recommendations clearly
  • coordinate closely with technicians and doctors to maintain smooth patient flow
  • maintain clean, organized front desk and lobby areas
  • follow up with clients via calls, texts, or emails as needed
  • document communication accurately in medical records
