Job Description
The Virginia Beach SPCA Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic (VBSPCA Veterinary Clinic) has been a trusted provider of affordable veterinary care in the Virginia Beach community for over 30 years. As part of the broader Virginia Beach SPCA organization, this clinic is dedicated to enhancing the lives of companion animals and their owners through a variety of essential veterinary services. These services range from routine wellness exams and preventive care to spay/neuter surgeries, dental cleanings, and advanced surgical procedures. The clinic operates with a mission to ensure that high-quality veterinary care is accessible to all pet owners, regardless of their financial situation, playing a vital role in the health and wellbeing of pets throughout the Hampton Roads region.
The VBSPCA Veterinary Clinic's commitment to compassionate care is evident not only in its comprehensive services but also in its collaborative and supportive work environment. The clinic boasts a modern, state-of-the-art facility equipped with digital radiography (including dental and full-body imaging), ultrasound, in-house laboratory testing, cryotherapy, and EKG machines. These advanced tools empower the clinic’s veterinary professionals to provide thorough diagnostics and treatments, improving patient outcomes and enhancing the efficiency of care delivery. Additionally, their cloud-based veterinary database and digital phone systems facilitate seamless communication and access to patient information, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness to client needs.
In the role of a Client Services Representative at the VBSPCA Veterinary Clinic, you will be the welcoming face of the clinic and the primary point of contact for all clients. This full-time position involves greeting clients with warmth and professionalism, assisting them in scheduling appointments, managing phone and email communications, and providing detailed information about the clinic’s services, pricing, and general veterinary care. Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will be required to multitask effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about animals, enjoy helping people, and thrive in team-oriented settings where collaboration is key to success.
The clinic places a strong emphasis on teamwork, ensuring that every staff member feels supported and has access to the resources necessary to excel in their role. Employees benefit from the clinic’s comprehensive benefits package, which makes working here not only fulfilling but also rewarding. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off for full-time employees, eight paid holidays annually, a veterinary care discount for their own pets, an employee assistance program for additional support, and adoption discounts to encourage adding new members to your furry family.
The VBSPCA Veterinary Clinic culture values patience, a good sense of humor, and a motivated attitude towards continuous learning and professional growth. If you are someone who thrives in a vibrant, compassionate, and mission-driven environment, this opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful impact every single day by contributing to the health and happiness of beloved pets within the community.
