Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
experience in animal care and customer service
basic knowledge of veterinary services and common animal diseases
strong communication and organizational skills
ability to handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
positive attitude with teamwork orientation

Job Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
advanced animal care experience
client and customer interaction experience
excellent communication skills
possess a good attitude and contribute to a positive work environment
knowledge of and ability to use medical abbreviations

Job Duties

Greet all clients with a positive greeting
answer phones
take messages and answer basic client questions
know the range of services the practice provides and the species it treats
advise clients and recommend services for their pets
differentiate and prioritize between routine cases and emergency cases and alert staff accordingly
maintain medical records
establish or understand medical record filing systems
handle all cash transactions including deposits and invoicing
be willing to be part of a supportive workplace
celebrate life events such as birthdays and anniversaries
