With a competitive compensation range of $15 to $18 per hour, this position operates on a four-day 10-hour weekly schedule with required availability Monday through Friday and on rotating Saturdays. The Veterinary Receptionist is responsible for managing appointments and the patient flow efficiently, handling multi-line phone systems, greeting clients in person with warmth, and supporting staff by processing transactions and providing accurate information about the hospital’s services. Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
  • previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
  • ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
  • ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
