Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of computer experience including typing and email
- Ability to work onsite at hospital or offsite event locations
- Flexibility to work 10+ hour shifts, weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, and reaching
- Willingness to work in a hospital environment with pet-related sounds and smells
- Ability to remain calm and focused during high call volumes
- Commitment to maintaining OSHA standards and workplace safety
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of customer service experience preferably in a fast-paced front desk or call center environment
- 1+ years of experience working with computers including typing and email systems
- Knowledge of handling dogs, cats, and exotic animals
- Typing speed of 40+ words per minute
- Proficiency with basic MS Office products including Word and Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to client needs and provide personalized customer service
Job Duties
- Greet clients and patients positively and in a friendly manner
- Maximize client call conversion by managing incoming phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Convert more than 20% of new client incoming calls to scheduled appointments
- Promote Care Companion Plans and preventive care services during calls
- Perform weekly proactive reminder phone calls to clients for upcoming or overdue services
- Administer receptionist duties including patient intake and discharge
- Handle cashier duties including reconciling cash drawer and completing daily opening and closing processes
