The Veterinary Receptionist role at BluePearl is a vital position that forms the first point of contact between clients and the hospital. Working day shifts with rotating weekends and holidays, the Veterinary Receptionist will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the hospital. This includes assessing the urgency of pet conditions, ensuring clear communication with clients, and supporting grieving pet owners with sensitivity. Candidates for this position should be able to work calmly under pressure, maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor, and effectively coordinate with other hospital team members.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work day shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Compassionate and professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations calmly
  • Basic computer proficiency

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and compassionate in emotional situations
  • Basic computer skills for appointment management
  • Familiarity with veterinary terminology is a plus

Job Duties
