This full-time position offers a competitive wage of $18 to $20 per hour based on experience and qualifications, along with a substantial benefits package. Working primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday coverage, the Veterinary Receptionist acts as the first point of contact for clients, managing appointment scheduling, greeting clients warmly, and handling multi-line phone systems efficiently. The successful candidate will navigate a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ensuring clients receive clear, compassionate information and support, fostering a positive client experience and encouraging long-term relationships.
Veterinary Receptionists at Forest Valley Veterinary Clinic are expected to be outgoing, detail-oriented, and highly organized individuals who excel in a team-centered atmosphere. The role requires proficiency in managing multiple communication channels, performing accurate financial transactions, and supporting smooth patient flow throughout the clinic’s day. Candidates will bring 1+ years of client-facing experience, preferably in veterinary or healthcare settings, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a calm, professional approach even during busy periods. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing of animals and the satisfaction of their owners, while working in a supportive, respectful environment which values collaboration and professionalism. The clinic encourages growth and development and provides resources such as uniform allowance, personal pet discounts, and a comprehensive health benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, an employee assistance program, and a 401k plan starting in 2027. Paid time off is provided according to policy and law, ensuring a healthy work-life balance for their employees.
