Part of Mars Veterinary Health, BluePearl combines advanced medical knowledge with a family-like culture, encouraging continuous learning and growth among its associates. The hospital is well-regarded for its commitment to quality medicine, employee development, and supportive work atmosphere. Located in Reno, NV, BluePearl Pet Hospital is known for its comprehensive approach to veterinary care, addressing the needs of pets and their families with empathy and expertise. They offer a wide range of advanced treatments, and their team consists of highly skilled veterinary professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
They are currently seeking an extraordinary Client Service Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis, with weekends being mandatory. This role is vital to the hospital's success because Client Service Coordinators are the first point of contact that clients encounter upon entering the hospital. The position requires a unique blend of outstanding customer service skills, veterinary medicine experience, and compassionate communication to ensure that every client receives personalized care and attention in even the most emotionally charged situations.
The Client Service Coordinator's responsibilities include greeting clients warmly, maintaining strong eye contact, offering friendly smiles, and serving as a compassionate listener. They must be able to speak clearly, calmly, and patiently both in person and on the telephone, making sure clients understand the information provided. An essential part of the role is assessing the urgency of each pet’s condition upon arrival and appropriately recognizing emergency situations. The Coordinator is also responsible for managing appointments, confirming details in advance, and providing clients with accurate instructions on how to prepare their pets.
Moreover, the role involves offering emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients with discretion and empathy, as well as serving as the liaison between clients and service agencies during sensitive procedures such as handling pet remains. This position demands a calm, supportive demeanor and the ability to operate effectively under pressure.
BluePearl offers a competitive starting pay ranging from $18.00 to $27.00 per hour, with actual pay dependent on the individual's experience and advancement through the company's Kahuna leveling system. Working at BluePearl means joining a supportive team where ongoing education and professional development are highly valued. Associate benefits include access to comprehensive insurance options, paid time off, flexible work schedules, and resources for mental health and well-being. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a team-oriented environment focused on growth, compassion, and outstanding veterinary care.
