Echo Hollow Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care is a reputable veterinary practice located in Eugene, Oregon. The role of Veterinary Receptionist at Echo Hollow Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care is fundamental to the hospital’s client experience. Serving as the welcoming face of the hospital, the Veterinary Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating exceptional client experiences and building trust through compassionate service. This position involves responsibilities such as managing appointments and daily patient flow, handling multi-line phone systems, conducting in-person interactions, processing transactions, and providing clients with essential information about the hospital's services. The role is fast-paced and demands a friendly, detail-oriented, and highly organized individual who thrives in a team-focused, customer service environment. This is a full-time position offering a 4/10 or 5/8 schedule, requiring availability Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays from 8am to 2pm. Compensation ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, reflecting the importance and skill required for this position. Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, reception, or client-facing role
  • previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front desk experience preferred
  • ability to manage multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
  • experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
  • exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service or client-facing roles
  • previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare front desk experience preferred
  • proficiency in handling multi-phone line systems
