Job Description

Woodland Veterinary Hospital, a trusted full-service veterinary hospital, has been a pillar of pet care in the Woodland community and its surrounding areas since 1975. What started as a small clinic has evolved into an extensive 11,000-square-foot campus home to nine veterinarians and over 40 dedicated veterinary support professionals. The hospital prides itself on offering a comprehensive range of services under one roof, from routine wellness visits and urgent care to advanced diagnostics and access to board-certified specialists. The team at Woodland Veterinary Hospital is deeply committed to compassionate, personalized care, treating every pet as if they were family and forging lasting relationships with the clients they serve. This commitment has established Woodland Veterinary Hospital as a cornerstone of community health and pet wellbeing for more than five decades.

Woodland Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a Client Service Representative to join their growing team. This role is a vital position as the first friendly face greeting clients and their pets at the front desk. The Client Service Representative acts as the heart of the hospital’s customer experience, managing a variety of responsibilities that ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional client satisfaction. Key tasks include welcoming clients warmly, scheduling appointments efficiently, handling a multi-line phone system professionally, managing pet check-ins and check-outs seamlessly, processing payments accurately, and providing helpful information about the hospital’s services to clients. This position requires excellent customer service skills, enthusiasm for working with animals, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

The position is offered with flexible scheduling options, available as full-time or part-time, with shifts typically lasting eight hours. While flexible availability during the week is preferred, having weekend availability for Saturdays and Sundays is especially valued to meet client needs. For full-time employees, a competitive wage of $22 to $25 per hour is provided, compensating for each hour worked. Additionally, full-time benefits include a comprehensive health package covering medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, disability options, 401k plans, an Employee Assistance Program to support personal wellbeing, paid time off consistent with company policy and legal requirements, and a personal pet discount to help care for your own furry family members. This role also offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a respected and progressive veterinary hospital that emphasizes community involvement and professional growth.

Woodland Veterinary Hospital values diversity and inclusion, operating as an Equal Opportunity Employer that considers all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, veteran or disability status, or any legally protected characteristic. The hospital ensures compliance with local and federal laws related to employment rights, accommodation, and nondiscrimination, striving to create a welcoming workplace for all team members. Prospective candidates are encouraged to apply if they possess a customer service background and share a genuine love for animals, contributing to the hospital’s mission to make tails wag every day.
