Job Description

We are a busy three-doctor AAHA Accredited veterinary practice dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for both our clients and their beloved pets. Our clinic is well-known for its commitment to quality care across a variety of animals, including cats, dogs, exotic pets, and reptiles. The accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) reflects our adherence to the highest standards in veterinary medicine, ensuring that we deliver not only compassionate care but also the most advanced and effective treatments available. We take pride in our team-oriented environment where every member plays a vital role in upholding our mission to promote animal health and well-being. Our practice sees a wide range of cases daily, making each day unique and providing ample opportunities for professional growth and learning.

The veterinary services we offer encompass general wellness exams, comprehensive diagnostic services, a variety of surgeries, and rehabilitation therapies such as innovative laser treatments. Our team thrives on client education, aiming to empower pet owners with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their pets’ care. In addition, we place strong emphasis on staff appreciation and fostering a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, mutual respect, and ongoing development. Working at our practice means joining a fun and dynamic team that genuinely values collaboration and the shared goal of improving the lives of the animals we serve.

Our location in Hilton Head offers an enviable lifestyle where work-life balance is easily achievable. Residents enjoy over 12 miles of pristine beaches and some of the finest seafood dining experiences available anywhere. The community deeply embraces an eco-friendly lifestyle, contributing to the natural beauty and health of the area. With mild winters and a wealth of outdoor recreational opportunities such as golf, kayaking, dolphin watching, and sunset cruises, Hilton Head provides an outstanding setting to live and work. The island is nationally recognized as one of the top family beaches in the United States and is acclaimed globally as one of the premier island vacation destinations. This combination of an enriching professional environment and an exceptional quality of life makes this position particularly appealing for veterinary professionals passionate about both their career and personal well-being.

The role we are hiring for focuses on providing an excellent and expeditious client experience. As a key front-line team member, you will greet clients warmly, respond to their inquiries, and efficiently manage the processing of pets during check-in and check-out. You will also handle payments with accuracy and professionalism. An essential part of the position includes answering incoming phone calls, addressing questions, screening for service needs, and scheduling appointments. Administrative responsibilities such as sorting and managing mail and e-mail, maintaining cleanliness in the client waiting area, and meticulously documenting client information and service data in business operations software are also part of your daily duties. You will escalate complex situations to senior staff members when necessary, ensuring that all clients receive timely and appropriate assistance. This role requires a motivated self-starter who can multitask effectively while functioning as a valuable team player within the hospital's collaborative environment.
