Known for its warm, welcoming environment, Four Paws prioritizes a Whole Person Approach to its veterinary team member experience. This approach emphasizes not only delivering excellent veterinary medicine but also supporting the wellbeing and growth of every employee. The Veterinary Receptionist role at Four Paws Veterinary Hospital is an integral position that serves as the frontline ambassador to clients and their pets. This role is designed for a highly organized, customer service-oriented individual who enjoys engaging with people and animals alike. Responsibilities include a variety of critical front desk tasks such as welcoming and checking in patients, managing appointment scheduling, handling invoicing and payments, and assisting with retail sales of pet supplies. The receptionist not only facilitates smooth daily operations but also fosters a positive experience for every client entering the hospital. Due to the nature of the veterinary practice, there is an expectation to support team members by maintaining a clean and organized waiting area, handling correspondence including mail and emails, and managing patient records with accuracy and confidentiality. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stamina to stand for long periods, highlighting the active and dynamic environment the receptionist works within.

This full-time position comes with competitive base pay and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and a 401k retirement plan with employer match. Team members are also entitled to paid time off, free continuing education opportunities, and mental health resources, all aimed at supporting personal and professional wellness. Four Paws Veterinary Hospital is committed to crafting custom career development plans tailored to individual team member goals, whether focused on advancing veterinary skills or enhancing community service capabilities.
