Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year veterinary clinic experience
  • Ability to work in person at Glendale, AZ 85304
  • Availability on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays
  • Strong animal health knowledge
  • Basic computer skills for email and scheduling
  • Ability to handle cash and electronic payments
  • Scheduling flexibility to adapt to clinic needs

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in a veterinary clinic
  • Strong animal health knowledge including common vaccinations, medications and health conditions
  • Ability to provide compassionate and professional client service
  • Experience with appointment scheduling and payment processing
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with AVIMark software is a plus but not required
  • Flexibility to work Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Schedule well visits, sick visits, euthanasia appointments and surgeries accurately
  • Check in and check out all appointments and surgeries
  • Process cash, credit card and Care Credit transactions
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby, exam rooms and reception area
  • Utilize animal health knowledge including vaccines, medications, health conditions and prescription diets
  • Check and return emails, voicemails and patient pet portal requests
  • Provide exceptional client support during delicate and stressful situations
