Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • minimum 1 year experience in veterinary or customer service role
  • excellent communication skills
  • compassionate and professional demeanor
  • strong telephone and computer proficiency
  • ability to work as a team player
  • willingness to learn and adapt
  • preferred knowledge of Practice Management Systems

Job Qualifications

  • at least 1 year experience in veterinary practice or customer-facing role

  • compassionate and professional attitude in stressful situations
  • exceptional telephone and computer skills
  • team player willing to learn new techniques and adapt to change
  • preferred experience using Practice Management System

Job Duties

  • Answer the practice phone and route calls appropriately
  • maintain hospital appointment calendar including scheduling and reviewing online bookings
  • greet all visitors, clients and patients by name and notify technical staff of arrivals
  • monitor wait times and accommodate during peak or emergency situations
  • participate in training new staff and share knowledge
  • ensure waiting area cleanliness and stock appropriate materials
  • confirm appointments by client’s preferred communication method and adjust as necessary
  • provide backup logistical support to technical staff when needed
