Known for its compassionate approach to animal health and well-being, The Ark Veterinary Clinic combines advanced veterinary technology with a warm and welcoming atmosphere to serve a diverse community of pet lovers. As a cornerstone of the community, the clinic emphasizes respect, teamwork, and a commitment to fostering a positive environment for both staff and clients. They are currently expanding their team to enhance service quality and meet the increasing demands of pet healthcare in the area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about animal care and looking for a supportive workplace culture where professional growth and patient welfare are paramount.

The available roles at The Ark Veterinary Clinic include positions as a Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant, with opportunities for cross-training to develop a versatile skill set. The Receptionist role involves providing outstanding client care by managing communications, assisting clients upon arrival, gathering essential patient information, and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes. Additional responsibilities include answering phones, managing incoming emails and text messages, filling prescriptions, and keeping clients informed about their pet's status to ensure a transparent and supportive experience.

The Veterinary Assistant role focuses on direct patient care and treatment support. Duties encompass restraining animals during procedures like blood draws and nail trims, assisting with routine diagnostic tasks such as radiographs and bloodwork, administering vaccines and medications under professional supervision, and maintaining surgical instruments. The assistant also supports inventory management, hospital cleanliness, and client interactions, especially ensuring that treatment estimates are agreed upon. Experience or interest in surgical assistance and post-operative animal care is considered an advantage.

The team-oriented environment at The Ark Veterinary Clinic values warmth, respect, and compassion towards animals and clients. Candidates who have worked in veterinary settings before will find this role rewarding, as preference is given to those with relevant experience. The ideal candidate embraces flexibility, capable of working four shifts of 9 to 9.5 hours weekly with willingness to cover additional shifts and work rotating weekends, which are mandatory.
