An open floor plan for treatment areas will encourage better collaboration among the veterinary team, and there will be an indoor pet relief area and a comfort room opening to the outdoors to help calm and support patients during visits. The Associate Veterinarian role at Village East provides an incredible opportunity to join a supportive, family-oriented team. The hospital typically operates with three doctors on shift daily, ensuring a close-knit team environment where collaboration and support are integral. The medical team is supported by licensed veterinary technicians at a 2:1 staff-to-DVM ratio, which helps maintain a manageable workload, allowing veterinarians to focus on quality patient care without being stretched thin. Under the mentorship of Dr. Durroh, a rehab-certified veterinarian who frequently performs TPLO surgeries, veterinarians have the chance to advance their surgical and rehabilitation skills. This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with one weekday off, establishing a true four-day workweek with no weekend or after-hours on-call shifts.
