Job Requirements

  • Graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program
  • DVM licensure in good standing to practice in Texas
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics

Job Duties

  • Build rapport with clients by listening to their concerns
  • Perform high-quality examinations and procedures while minimizing patient stress
  • Communicate with clients about pet diagnosis, treatment plans, and health care
  • Maintain accurate medical and surgical records and logs
  • Stay updated on new veterinary information and practices
  • Assist in developing the paraprofessional team for quality care and service
  • Promote a positive image of the hospital to the community
