- Graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program
- DVM licensure in good standing to practice in Texas
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics

Job Duties
- Build rapport with clients by listening to their concerns
- Perform high-quality examinations and procedures while minimizing patient stress
- Communicate with clients about pet diagnosis, treatment plans, and health care
- Maintain accurate medical and surgical records and logs
- Stay updated on new veterinary information and practices
- Assist in developing the paraprofessional team for quality care and service
- Promote a positive image of the hospital to the community
