The role of Vertical Marketing Manager at Hach is a dynamic and strategic position based in Loveland, Colorado, with a hybrid work arrangement. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Vertical Marketing, this role focuses on developing and executing targeted growth strategies in North America for industrial markets. The Vertical Marketing Manager will be a trusted expert in industrial verticals such as power, semiconductor, food and beverage, and chemical markets. This position involves collaborating across sales, service, product, and marketing teams to deliver impactful commercial initiatives and strengthen Hach’s leadership in the water analysis industry.
The Vertical Marketing Manager will research market trends and regulatory changes, identify customer pain points, and craft growth strategies aligned with business objectives. A significant part of this role is to lead cross-functional execution of commercial initiatives, partner with marketing campaign and digital demand generation teams, and coordinate trade show and event planning. Additionally, the manager will support the sales teams with vertical-specific strategies and ensure that products meet the critical needs of customers.
This position requires a passionate and strategic marketer who thrives in a collaborative environment, able to lead through influence and possess a strong understanding of B2B market dynamics. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- MBA or advanced marketing degree preferred
- 5+ years of progressive commercial experience in marketing or product management
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing growth or go-to-market strategies in a B2B environment
- Experience using market, customer, or performance data to identify opportunities and support decisions
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence

Job Duties
- Research and analyze industrial market trends, regulatory changes, customer pain points, and vertical-specific opportunities
- Plan and deliver comprehensive annual growth initiatives aligned with market opportunities and business goals, including growth strategies for sub-verticals such as power, semiconductor, food and beverage, and chemical markets
- Drive cross-functional execution of commercial growth initiatives and sub-vertical growth strategies
- Partner with marketing campaign managers, digital marketers, and demand generation experts to align campaigns and initiatives with business growth strategies and customer needs
- Collaborate with trade show and event managers to plan and execute events that reinforce Hach's leadership in water analysis
- Work closely with North American sales teams to develop vertical-specific strategies and tools for success
- Track, measure, and analyze the performance of growth initiatives against established KPIs and use problem solving to adjust strategies as needed
