Job Description

Sodexo is a global leader in food services and facilities management, dedicated to improving the quality of life for people we serve. With operations spanning numerous countries and sectors, Sodexo partners with clients to provide outstanding food services, catering, and integrated facilities management solutions. By fostering an inclusive and diverse environment, Sodexo commits to treating every employee with respect and fairness, encouraging individuality and innovation. The company's purpose is to create a better everyday experience for everyone and to build a better life for all, contributing positively to the economic, social, and environmental well-being of the communities where it operates.

The Venue Stadium Chef position at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, WA, represents a dynamic and impactful culinary leadership role within this esteemed organization. This role requires a culinary expert who will provide multi-unit culinary expertise, operational support, and training across a broad geographic area. As a Venue Stadium Chef, you will play a critical role in strengthening culinary execution by supporting key areas such as menu development, large-scale catering, recipe creation, food safety standards, and the training of frontline staff and managers. Your contribution will help maintain consistent culinary standards throughout the venue and across the district, impacting both the quality of food served and the experience of guests at this highly visible stadium location.

In this position, you will act as an individual contributor, focusing on specialized technical tasks that support overall operations. Though much of your work will be conducted independently, collaboration with broader teams will be essential to align culinary strategies and operational goals. You will be highly involved in system implementations, including food management systems (FMS), ensuring seamless integration and staff training, an important factor for operational success at such a scale.

The role also demands expertise in financial controls, such as plate costing and inventory management, to ensure profitability and efficiency. Understanding the principles of profit and loss (P&L) and cost of sales will be crucial as you manage resources and optimize costs without compromising food quality or customer satisfaction. Moreover, as a Venue Stadium Chef, you will contribute to recruitment activities by supporting staffing needs that include selecting and developing culinary talent thereby reinforcing an excellent culinary team structure.

This position offers unique opportunities to lead culinary planning and large catering initiatives, training and onboarding new culinary leaders and frontline employees. The ability to travel and oversee multiple units adds variety and challenge to the role, providing broad professional exposure and growth opportunities. Your strong presentation skills will be indispensable in representing Sodexo at sales presentations, retention efforts, and program showcases, helping to elevate the organization’s profile and secure continued success.

With a competitive salary range from $139,145 to $180,070 per year, plus eligibility for Sodexo’s incentive plan, this job offers excellent compensation aligned with your level of expertise, education, and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision care, wellness programs, 401(k) plan with matching contributions, paid time off, company holidays, career growth opportunities, and tuition reimbursement. Sodexo’s inclusive culture means you can bring your authentic self to work, ensuring your ideas and opinions are valued as part of a strong and engaged team.
