Job Description

FIFA26 is the organizing company responsible for delivering the FIFA World Cup 26™, a landmark international sporting event that will feature 48 teams for the first time ever. Hosted across three countries – Canada, Mexico, and the United States – this pioneering World Cup format aims to bring fans and players from all over the world together through an unprecedented level of participation and engagement. The event will stand as a symbol of unity through sport and create a legacy of excellence for future tournaments.

The Venue Transport Supervisor role, based in San Francisco, is a critical fixed-term contract position within the FIFA26 Event Transport team. Reporting directly to the Venue Transport Manager, the Venue Transport Supervisor will work on-site and play a key role in orchestrating all transportation operations linked to the stadiums and venues hosting the World Cup games. Collaborating closely with stadium teams, security, suppliers, and contractors, this role is dedicated to ensuring seamless, secure, and efficient transport services to support fans, players, and officials.

This role demands high accountability and leadership, requiring the Supervisor to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver operational excellence within a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. The individual will oversee transport information desks, manage volunteer and contractor teams, handle transport equipment (FF&E), and maintain control over transport load zones and access points. The Supervisor will also ensure alignment between transport operations and security measures to guarantee a smoothly executed event experience.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in transport, civil engineering, project management, event management, major sport events, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. The role values diversity and welcomes candidates with varied backgrounds, especially those enthusiastic about the sport industry and committed to learning and contributing to the FIFA26 team ethos. Experience in football, sports, or event management sectors, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in English, are highly desired. Additional language skills such as Spanish or French and familiarity with planning software and MS Office tools will be advantageous.

FIFA26 is deeply committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture. The organization is a proud equal opportunity employer prohibiting any form of discrimination and encouraging applications from all qualified individuals.

Joining as a Venue Transport Supervisor for FIFA World Cup 26™ means contributing to one of the most celebrated sporting events worldwide while gaining invaluable experience in event operations, transport logistics, leadership, and project management. It is an opportunity to be part of a historic sporting milestone and make a real impact on how this global event is executed.

Employment for this role is under a fixed-term contract, with the workplace located on-site in San Francisco.
