Job Description

FIFA26 is the organizing company responsible for delivering the FIFA World Cup 26™, a landmark international sporting event that will feature 48 teams for the first time ever. Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in transport, civil engineering, project management, event management, major sport events or a combination of education and experience relating to position
  • 2 years' work experience ideally within the football, sport, or event industry
  • ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from support staff, managers, and clients
  • motivated and capable of working independently
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • willingness to learn transit operations involved in moving client groups by vehicles, including city layout
  • fluent in English
  • spanish and/or french proficiency is a plus
  • proficient in ms office (excel, word, powerpoint, visio & project) and planning software and online collaboration tools

Job Duties

  • work closely with existing stadium teams to coordinate fifa constituent group transport provisions and access to/from stadium and venues
  • work closely with the security team to ensure transport plans are coordinated with the appropriate security provisions
  • liaise with bus operations staff and fleet operations staff during operational period to ensure a successful transportation operation
  • work with chosen suppliers/contractors within the various parking/traffic management/load zone locations
  • management of transport information desks
  • training and supervising volunteers and contractors
  • responsible for management of vapp boards and transport load zones at each venue
  • responsible for placement, control and storage of transport related ff&e
