Job Description
Sanctuary Mimo is a stylish and contemporary event venue located in the heart of Miami's Modernist Architecture Historic District, also known as MiMo. Featuring over 14,000 square feet of adaptable space, it is the ideal location for hosting a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate galas, and exclusive private parties. This brand-new venue combines the charm of Miami’s rich architectural heritage with modern amenities, creating an inviting canvas for clients to bring their event visions to life. Sanctuary Mimo is committed to providing a premier venue experience, supported by a professional and passionate team dedicated to excellence and client satisfaction.
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to join our team and drive the financial success of this stunning venue. This role is perfect for a motivated sales professional who thrives in luxurious and creative environments and wants to develop a career in venue sales rather than event planning. The Venue Sales Manager will be responsible for managing both inbound and outbound sales leads with energy, professionalism, and a service-oriented attitude. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales within the hospitality, banquet, or related industries and will excel at creating and nurturing referral relationships with hotels, local associations, destination management companies, and other industry partners.
In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to sell a versatile “white box” space that can be transformed for any occasion. You will leverage industry connections, conduct unforgettable site tours, and utilize strategic sales and marketing plans to maximize bookings and revenue. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients and vendors. Flexibility is essential as the role may require working nights and weekends to accommodate in-house events, and occasional travel to industry events and mixers.
Sanctuary Mimo fosters a collaborative environment where your contributions directly impact the venue's brand image and business growth. With access to cutting-edge sales and event management software and backed by weekly meetings with ownership for strategic planning, this role offers a platform to excel and grow your career in a competitive yet rewarding field. If you are passionate about hospitality sales and ready to join a vibrant team dedicated to creating memorable experiences, Sanctuary Mimo welcomes your application.
