Job Description

Live Nation Entertainment is the world’s premier live entertainment company, globally recognized for leading in the music and live event industry. The company is an umbrella for several influential entities such as Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship. Ticketmaster stands as the global leader in event ticketing, selling over 500 million tickets annually and serving more than 12,000 clients worldwide. Meanwhile, Live Nation Concerts promotes over 40,000 shows and more than 100 festivals yearly, featuring close to 4,000 artists across more than 40 countries. This powerful combination enables Live Nation to connect over 1,000 global brands with a massive fan base of 98 million attendees each year, through their strategic music marketing programs.

Live Nation’s Concerts Division is the hub where tours are created, artists thrive, and fans experience the exhilarating energy of live music. The division encompasses a variety of functions including touring, ticketing, venue operations, marketing, and sales. It proudly supports a vibrant and inclusive culture with perks such as free concert tickets, dog-friendly offices, and innovative benefits like student loan reimbursement and adoption/fertility support. These offerings help earn Live Nation recognition as a Great Place to Work organization and inclusion on People Magazine’s list of "50 Companies that Care." The company fosters an environment where employees can feel like they belong, grow in their careers, and achieve both personal and professional goals. Live music is at the heart of what Live Nation does, serving as a shared passion that unites its diverse workforce.

The Event Porter role within the US Concerts team at Live Nation focuses on preserving an exceptional experience for fans by maintaining cleanliness, safety, and hospitality in the venue environment. This is a physically demanding yet rewarding custodial position responsible for restroom sanitation, trash removal, spill management, deep-cleaning projects, and other vital cleaning duties that take place before, during, and after events. The position comes with an hourly pay rate ranging from $22.00 to $25.00, based on experience.

The Event Porter acts as a frontline ambassador of the venue by being highly visible and responsive to the needs of guests. Duties include maintaining continuous movement within the venue to inspect and address cleanliness, guest service, and safety concerns proactively. This role ensures that restrooms and high-touch surfaces such as sinks, toilets, drinking fountains, and mirrors are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected regularly. Restroom supplies like soap, paper towels, and hand sanitizer are restocked frequently to keep up with guest needs. Additionally, floors, carpets, seating areas, and all guest-facing, artist-facing, and employee zones are swept, mopped, vacuumed, and maintained to the highest standards.

Spills and hazards are immediately managed with appropriate caution signage to protect all attendees and staff, while fixtures and furnishings such as handrails, doors, and seats are polished and cleaned to maintain an inviting environment. The role also involves maintaining the organization of cleaning supplies and equipment and promptly reporting any equipment deficiencies or safety issues to management. During non-event days, the Event Porter contributes by completing scheduled deep-cleaning projects and other custodial assignments.

A key focus of the position is to uphold a professional demeanor and comply with all health and safety regulations, ensuring the venue remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone. The role requires flexibility, with shifts that may extend into evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight hours. Candidates must be physically able to stand, walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds. A reliable means of transportation is essential due to the unpredictability of shift hours. The ideal candidate brings prior experience in cleaning, custodial, housekeeping, or venue operations and demonstrates strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a passionate team dedicated to creating memorable live music experiences while enjoying a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
