The North Las Vegas location is hiring a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic to join their safety-conscious team. This role involves maintaining and repairing all company-owned fleet vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The position is full-time and offers competitive wages, with opportunities for wage increases after 90 days.
As a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic at Clean Harbors, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and routine repairs on heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Your duties will include conducting daily inspections, addressing vehicle issues reported by drivers, and ensuring all repair work complies with safety and environmental regulations. You will also assist with safe vehicle movement within the yard and maintain the cleanliness of the work facility. Job Requirements

- 1+ years experience in diesel vehicle maintenance
- 1+ years DOT inspection experience
- ability to comply with health and safety protocols

- ability to pass background check

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- ensuring that health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- move company equipment safely on yard as needed
- assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues
- perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on company vehicles and equipment
- perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment, vehicles, and machinery
- complete daily checklist as required
- assure that equipment is properly parked and secured in compliance with facility permit and DOT requirements
- maintain facility via housekeeping duties
- performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business
