Job Description

The Aldenburg Hotel is a distinguished boutique hotel that provides an experience defined by a perfect blend of timeless elegance and contemporary comfort. Located in a beautifully curated space that balances classic architecture with modern luxury, The Aldenburg offers guests a setting where every detail is intentional and crafted to ensure a stay full of personalized touches and exceptional comfort. This boutique establishment is dedicated to delivering refined hospitality, shaped by thoughtful service, elevated design, and a deep sense of place. The Aldenburg prides itself on creating moments that guests remember long after they leave by fostering a culture of service with intention, collaboration, creativity, and a shared commitment to excellence.

We are seeking a dedicated Van/Valet Driver who will play a key role in upholding the hotel's commitment to exceptional guest service. This position is responsible for safely transporting guests and providing a memorable first impression through courteous valet and transportation services. The Van/Valet Driver will operate company vans and shuttles to transport guests to and from various designated locations such as airports, local attractions, and parking areas. The role requires adherence to scheduled routes and punctual pick-up and drop-off times while also assisting guests with their luggage and sharing appropriate local information.

In addition to guest transportation, the valet services element of this role encompasses greeting guests promptly and professionally upon their arrival and departure, efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles, maintaining accurate records of vehicle locations and keys, and inspecting vehicles for any pre-existing damage. The Van/Valet Driver is expected to consistently deliver a high level of hospitality and respond swiftly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, thereby embodying the welcoming spirit of The Aldenburg Hotel.

Safety and compliance are paramount, with a strict adherence to all traffic laws and company safety policies required. Routine vehicle inspections and reporting of maintenance needs ensure that all vehicles are safe, clean, and presentable at all times. The role also extends to operational support, assisting with luggage handling, door service, and coordinating effectively with front desk and bell staff to enhance guest services.

This position requires professionalism, strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, experience operating both automatic and manual transmission vehicles, and a background in valet, driving, or hospitality services. Physical stamina is essential, as the job entails standing, walking, running for extended periods, lifting luggage of up to 50 pounds, and working outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Joining The Aldenburg Hotel means joining a team that values a customer-focused mindset, attention to detail, safety awareness, reliability, punctuality, and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor. As part of this exceptional team, you will contribute to an elevated guest experience characterized by personal connection, polish, and genuine hospitality. If you are passionate about creating outstanding guest experiences and thrive in an environment that balances historic character with contemporary sophistication, The Aldenburg Hotel welcomes your application to become a Van/Valet Driver and part of our extraordinary hospitality team.
