Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Able to arrive on time and clock in/out as scheduled
  • Provide sufficient notice when calling out per supervisor instructions
  • Able to perform physical demands including stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting
  • Must have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
  • Desire to provide excellent hospitality and guest service
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names to make them feel welcomed
  • Work collaboratively to contribute to high guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Answer incoming calls with friendly service using approved greeting
  • Store and retrieve luggage or packages for guests
  • Clean and maintain guest hallways, stairwells, service areas and ice rooms
  • Collect trash from exterior garbage receptacles and hotel grounds
  • Monitor placement and condition of public space furniture and report issues
  • Maintain stock levels in linen closets and guest amenities
  • Replenish amenities and supplies in assigned guestrooms
  • Stock and maintain housekeeping cart
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude by supporting beyond traditional role
