The position available is for a Delivery Driver at the Professional Handling & Distribution location in St. Charles, IL. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of building materials to commercial and residential job sites. The Delivery Driver operates commercial motor vehicles, including flatbeds and boom trucks, adhering strictly to company policies and all applicable Federal and State regulations. As a delivery driver, you will play an integral role in the company’s supply chain by safely transporting freight without damage, loading and unloading materials, and providing world-class customer service at every interaction.

The job requires a dynamic individual who can inspect vehicles for safety defects, load heavy building materials up to 80 pounds, deliver goods according to customer priorities, and maintain accurate records for regulatory compliance. Effective communication and professionalism are essential, ensuring smooth collaboration with customers, management, and team members. This is a physically active role involving constant operation of commercial vehicles and handling materials outdoors, requiring stamina and sound judgement under pressure.

The base salary range is typically from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, with potential wage variation based on location, experience, and qualifications.
