The current opening is for a Host or Hostess position at Treehouse Sunnyvale, a role crucial to the restaurant's guest experience. The host or hostess serves as the brand's ambassador, the first point of contact for guests, and the face of the hotel's hospitality ethos. This position requires a passionate individual who understands the significance of superior service and strives to create a memorable, warm, and inspiring welcome for every guest. The successful candidate will be a friendly and detail-oriented team player with a passion for hospitality, food, and beverage service. Flexibility to work in a dynamic 24-hour operation and a cooperative spirit are essential.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous customer service experience in a hospitality setting
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to work collaboratively with diverse teams

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in hospitality or food and beverage service
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • greet and welcome restaurant guests with warmth and professionalism
  • manage guest reservations and seating arrangements effectively
  • provide guests with accurate information about menu items and restaurant services
  • coordinate smoothly with restaurant and banquet operations staff
  • maintain tidiness and organization at the host station
  • address guest inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly and courteously
  • assist in coordinating special events and large group bookings
