This role offers extensive on-the-job training to ensure you can confidently manage various stations including fry, cashier, prep, seasoning, breading, and expo. Your responsibilities will include handling food preparation with precision, maintaining high sanitation and safety standards, and supporting the dietary department by adhering to specific meal requirements. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Able to speak clearly and comprehend directions in English
Able to read English
Ability to read or speak Spanish is helpful but not mandatory
Capable of standing and walking for extended periods
Able to bend and twist at the waist
Occasionally able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
Use hands to grasp kitchen tools and utensils
Tolerant of exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, dust, fumes, or cleaning chemicals
Able to wear Angry Chickz uniform and non-slip shoes as required

Job Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook or similar role within a restaurant or food service setting
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Familiarity with various cooking methods and techniques
Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is advantageous
Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Knowledge of company recipes and preparation
Ensure food is prepared with care and of the best quality, flavor, and presentation
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
Responsible for setup and sanitation of the stations on the line
Maintain clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
Maintaining organization, proper labeling, and rotation of food products
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, stoves, or griddles
Support the dietary department by following specific dietary requirements for meals
Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
