The position available is for a Food and Food Service Delivery Driver based in Glenwillow, OH. This role is essential within the country’s food supply chain, ensuring that food and related products reach customers promptly and in excellent condition. The driver acts as the face of Core-Mark, building lasting relationships with customers through professional communication and reliable service. The position requires a valid CDL Class A license, with no prior experience necessary, and offers a competitive salary range between $75,000 and $85,000 with the commitment of only one overnight per week. The shift runs Monday through Friday, with dispatch times between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. Responsibilities include driving tractor-trailers or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver food products, performing necessary safety checks and inspections compliant with Department of Transportation regulations, properly loading, securing, and unloading freight, handling customer interactions professionally, and completing all required documentation accurately. The driver must perform damage control checks, verify deliveries, and manage customer payments where applicable while adhering to company and DOT safety standards at all times. Additional duties include maintaining cleanliness of equipment and trailers, completing daily hours of service logs, and contributing as a team player within the department to support company goals.
