Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior hospitality or valet experience preferred
- current valid drivers license and ability to maintain it throughout employment
- ability to work varied schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to lift, push, pull, or carry packages and luggage up to 100 lbs continuously during shift
- ability to represent the company professionally and courteously at all times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior hospitality or valet experience preferred
- excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns positively
- ability to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work well under pressure
- physically able to lift and carry luggage up to 100 lbs
- professional and well-groomed appearance at all times
Job Duties
- Greeting and welcoming all guests
- assisting with check-ins and check-outs
- effectively resolving challenging guest requests and complaints
- parking cars and making frequent trips to the airport and/or downtown Lincoln
- lifting, carrying, and loading luggage and packages onto bell carts to transport to designated rooms
- reading and matching luggage tags, writing claim tickets and giving portion to guests
- attending all scheduled mandatory guest services meetings, trainings, and hotel meetings
- performing related duties and special projects as assigned
- representing the hotel with professionalism and decorum, especially during emergencies or busy periods
