The Valet/Self-Parking Operations Manager position based in Jacksonville, Florida, offers a full-time employment opportunity with a competitive annual salary ranging from $52,000 to $56,000. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and operational efficiency within SP+'s expansive parking network. The ideal candidate will oversee daily parking operations, spearhead team management, and implement strategic initiatives to maximize both service quality and profitability.

In this managerial role, you will be entrusted with delivering SP+’s promise to customers by swiftly addressing client requests and concerns and proactively communicating improvements to enhance operations. You will lead a diverse team of employees, focusing on recruitment, development, training, and supervision to maintain high performance and dedication to customer service excellence. Staffing decisions to ensure efficient operation and superior customer experience will be a key responsibility.

Furthermore, this role requires adherence to parking, security, and cash control procedures to maintain operational integrity. Financial stewardship is also vital, encompassing revenue development, facility marketing, budget management, and cost control measures to bolster profitability. Responsibilities also include managing procurement and vendor services, carrying out general accounting tasks like payroll and accounts payable, and monitoring facility maintenance to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

Job Requirements

  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record

Job Duties

  • Hire, develop, train, and supervise a diverse team of Promise-driven employees
  • Identify proper staffing levels to complete duties, deliver a superior customer experience, and perform daily job functions
  • Ensure that proper parking, security, and cash control procedures are followed
  • Maximize profitability through revenue development, facility marketing, cash control procedures, expense reviews, and managing the operation's budget
  • Identify all procurement and vendor service needs of the location
  • Perform general accounting duties such as accounts payable, payroll, and petty cash
  • Monitor facility maintenance for cleanliness standards
  • Monitor and review all damage claims
  • Recommend and implement plans or programs to improve the safety of operations to prevent the occurrence or reoccurrence of similar claims
  • Implement all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all OSHA laws
