Currently, Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a full-time Valet/Bell Attendant to join the Barton Creek Resort team. This role is crucial in ensuring that guests enjoy a seamless, pleasurable arrival and departure experience. The Valet/Bell Attendant is responsible for assisting guests with their vehicles and belongings, maintaining the high standards of the resort, and representing the Omni brand with professionalism and warmth.
The position involves greeting guests in a friendly manner, assisting with luggage during check-in and check-out, orienting guests to room amenities, and providing information about the resort and surrounding areas. Additionally, attendants safely and efficiently park and retrieve vehicles, deliver packages and newspapers to guest rooms, and provide shoe shining services upon request. Maintaining a neat appearance and adhering to company policies, including safety and security protocols, is essential.
The role requires physical stamina as attendants frequently lift and move heavy items, work outdoors in varied weather conditions, and remain on their feet throughout shifts. Driving skills, including the ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions, are preferred. Successful candidates must hold a valid driver’s license, be at least 21 years old, and pass both a motor vehicle report and pre-employment drug screening. The job also requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- possess a valid driver license
- able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report with no more than one moving violation in the past two years
- able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
- physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling 100 to 150 lbs frequently
- able to work on feet for entire shift
- must have excellent grooming and professional appearance

Job Duties
- Demonstrate and maintain 4-Diamond standards of service daily
- greet all guests in a friendly and warm manner welcoming them to the resort
- assist guests with luggage during check-in and check-out process
- orient guests to room amenities
- provide guests with directions and information about the resort and surrounding area
- efficiently and safely park and retrieve guest vehicles
- assist with delivering packages and newspapers to guest rooms
- shine shoes upon request
- assist in resolving and accommodating guest requests
- follow all company policies and procedures including hotel key policies
- maintain a clean and neat appearance of uniform and wear name tag
- assist in keeping lobby and main drive clean and tidy
- maintain knowledge of all club events, promotional programs, amenities, and services
- understand all emergency procedures
- properly log all runs on valet log at valet stand
- complete other duties as assigned by management
