Job Description

UHealth is a renowned healthcare system located in Miami, Florida, committed to delivering superior medical services to its community. The institution is part of a broader network offering cutting-edge healthcare solutions, state-of-the-art facilities, and a patient-centered approach that emphasizes both wellness and recovery. With a strong reputation for clinical excellence and innovative practices, UHealth attracts dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in healthcare.

The position of Valet Supervisor at UHealth is a full-time role based at their facility at 1400 NW 12th Ave, Miami, FL 33136. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $17.00 per hour plus tips, working Monday through Friday with varied shifts. The role is pivotal in ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient valet parking operations, which are essential for delivering a positive first impression and ongoing experience for patients, visitors, and staff. The Valet Supervisor will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities of the valet team.

Reimagined Parking, the company managing these services, values its workforce as the cornerstone for delivering outstanding service. The Valet Supervisor leads by example, championing a customer service-oriented mindset while also ensuring rigorous compliance with safety protocols and operational standards. This includes supervising valet attendants, coordinating vehicle flow to avoid congestion and delays, handling customer issues promptly and professionally, and maintaining accurate records of vehicle movements and financial transactions.

Further responsibilities encompass managing staffing and scheduling, addressing guest concerns directly as the on-site escalation point, enforcing safety and vehicle handling procedures, and liaising with security, facility staff, and emergency services when needed. The role demands a blend of leadership, operational oversight, customer service excellence, and problem-solving skills to promote a positive, accountable, and efficient working environment.

Candidates are expected to have a calm and professional demeanor, particularly in high-pressure or fast-paced scenarios common in healthcare facility environments. Attention to detail and a customer-focused approach are critical for success in this position. Given the nature of the healthcare setting, proof of vaccinations including MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella, and Hepatitis B is mandatory prior to employment, underscoring the commitment to health and safety standards.

Physical aspects of the job require the ability to move quickly between locations, sometimes for an entire shift, and the capacity to lift or carry items up to 50 pounds. Working conditions involve exposure to various weather conditions and interaction with diverse individuals, including potentially upset customers, reinforcing the need for patience and professionalism.

UHealth and Reimagined Parking offer an attractive benefits package for full-time employees, including paid time off, health coverage (medical, dental, vision), life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plans with employer match, employee assistance programs, and parental leave options. For part-time employees, benefits such as 401(k) plans, paid sick leave, and employee assistance programs are available. The position may be union represented, subjecting employment terms to collective bargaining agreements if applicable.

Overall, the Valet Supervisor position at UHealth is an excellent opportunity for individuals with relevant experience in valet, parking, hospitality, or supervisory roles, who are seeking a stable full-time job in a dynamic healthcare environment with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
