Job Requirements
- Be over 21 years of age
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
- Have the ability to navigate, operate, and troubleshoot computer systems and software applications
- Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills
- Maintain a strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously
Job Qualifications
- You are over 21 years of age
- You possess a valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- You can speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
- You can navigate, operate, and troubleshoot computer systems and software applications
- You can develop and maintain professional relationships and speak effectively before guests and groups of co-workers
- You have effective time management and organizational skills
- can prioritize and organize work assignments and follow through as necessary to receive expected results
- You have a strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously
Job Duties
- Greet all guests nearby and make each feel important by providing a genuine welcome and opening entrance doors
- Overall responsibility for department scheduling based on hotel, events, and outlet volume
- Responsible for training new team members
- Ensure team members have a complete understanding of their job requirements and sufficient training and communicate team member areas of opportunity to the outlet manager
- Communicate shift goals and expectations to team members
- Drive safely and follow all traffic regulations while parking and returning guests' vehicles
- Ensure that the front lobby, front interior, and exterior entrances are kept clean
- Maintain knowledge of the hotel property, staff, hours of operation, and services
- sell the amenities of the hotel
- Immediately inform hotel management of any accidents or moving violations
- Pick up and deliver guest laundry for valet service
- Read maps and provide clear directions
- Carry baggage weighing up to fifty pounds to the guest's room
- respond to requests for bell service as soon as possible
- Arrange and store luggage carts
- use extreme caution to protect guest's property when loading and unloading luggage carts
- Continually watch for people in halls, around corners, and in elevators, and be aware of any possible safety hazards
- Deliver packages, faxes, and messages to guests
- Arrange for reasonable accommodations for person(s) with disabilities
- Assist in evacuation procedures as necessary
- Ensure open lines of communication with all departments and management via email, logbooks, meetings, etc. to ensure all needs of the outlet are met
