The role of Valet Supervisor at Cornerstone Parking Group is a full-time position dedicated to leading, managing, and overseeing all aspects of valet operations during assigned shifts. This position is crucial in delivering seamless service while maintaining a safe, cooperative, and respectful work environment. The Valet Supervisor acts as the frontline leader, addressing daily operational challenges, ensuring compliance with company and client policies, and spearheading team development. This role demands strong leadership skills, a hands-on management style, and a passionate commitment to excellence in customer service. The supervisor works closely with valet staff, other shift supervisors, and management to review operational outcomes and employee performance, ultimately contributing to the client’s satisfaction and the overall success of parking operations.

Key responsibilities include enforcing uniform and attendance policies, being visibly present and supportive during shifts, training staff on their duties, organizing labor tracking and attendance records, and managing operational equipment. Effective communication within the team and reporting significant incidents or challenges to the Valet Manager are integral to the role. Additionally, the supervisor ensures best practices in cash handling and upholds safety standards. Job Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Lead and direct all components of valet operations during a shift block
  • ensure uniform policy, attendance policy, and company and client policies are maintained and monitored
  • provide leadership and support, be visible and available for staff and client during shift
  • conduct weekly and monthly operational and employee recaps with valet department and leadership
  • train staff team members on valet duties and responsibilities
  • organize attendance and track valet employees' work hours
  • report significant challenges, absences, performance issues, or important information to the Valet Manager
  • practice hands-on leadership and coach through Management by Walking Around
  • communicate with other shift supervisors and managers to meet operational demands
  • manage collection and organization of equipment such as signs, cones, valet podium, uniforms
  • comply with cash handling practices set by operations leadership
