This family-owned company prides itself on creating unforgettable moments filled with excitement, luxury, and comfort. Each resort embodies an African-inspired theme, offering guests world-class dining options, luxurious spas, thrilling entertainment, and state-of-the-art convention centers. These features make every visit a unique experience that redefines hospitality. The company’s mission extends beyond hospitality; the core value of "Leading with Love" guides their service philosophy, fostering an environment where guests, associates, and communities are treated like family. This commitment is seen through their active contribution to charitable causes, including their partnership with charity: water, aiming to bring clean water access to one million people in Africa.
The role of Valet Supervisor at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is a leadership position crucial to enhancing the guest arrival and departure experience. As a Valet Supervisor, you will be entrusted with overseeing and managing all operations concerning the valet staff. Responsibilities include ensuring that services such as helping guests with their vehicles, coordinating traffic flow at the resort’s entrance, managing luggage pickups and deliveries, and responding to guest requests are carried out efficiently and with utmost courtesy. This role demands a professional who exemplifies leadership and embodying the company's principle to Lead with Love. You will be part of the leadership team, supporting, guiding, and inspiring the valet associates to deliver superior guest services. Your leadership will ensure smooth, welcoming, and efficient front-drive operations, setting a high standard for quality service and attention to detail from the moment guests arrive.
Key tasks include training and equipping valet staff, coaching and counseling with alignment to company values, handling guest complaints with tact and prompt action, and managing administrative duties like transport logs and shift checklists. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and has excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A valid driver’s license and the ability to be on your feet throughout your shift are essential. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is also required to meet the demands of the hospitality schedule.
