Job Description

Towne Park is a leading hospitality services company dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences across various locations, including healthcare facilities such as the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. With a core mission centered on creating smiles by providing compassionate and attentive service, Towne Park plays a vital role in enhancing the overall experience of millions of patients, visitors, and guests. The company fosters a supportive and rewarding work environment where employees have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact daily. By working collaboratively with colleagues, Towne Park team members embody a spirit of care and professionalism, ensuring that every interaction contributes to positive and memorable experiences. Towne Park values integrity, customer focus, and a commitment to excellence, setting them apart in the hospitality industry.

The Guest Service Captain position at Towne Park represents a unique leadership-oriented role that focuses not only on superior guest service but also on operational support. This role is based at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and offers an hourly starting wage of $20, supplemented by cash tips. The work schedule is flexible, encompassing weekdays, weekends, and all shifts, reflecting the dynamic needs of the hospitality services sector. The Guest Service Captain is responsible for orchestrating seamless guest service experiences, working closely with the team to meet and exceed the established service standards.

Unlike a managerial role, the Guest Service Captain provides vital support by troubleshooting issues, guiding team members, and making prompt decisions when urgent situations arise, especially when the Account Manager is not present. The role requires a combination of hands-on duties, such as greeting and assisting guests, managing vehicle parking procedures, and coordinating services, alongside administrative responsibilities like building work schedules, handling cash and revenue reporting, and collaborating directly with management. This position is ideal for individuals with a background or interest in supervisory roles, offering growth potential within a respected hospitality company.

Towne Park emphasizes a culture of 'Aggressive Hospitality,' ensuring that every guest receives warm, professional, and efficient service from the moment they arrive until departure. The Guest Service Captain leads by example, promoting teamwork and maintaining high standards throughout the shift, including compliance with safety protocols and privacy standards such as HIPAA. Benefits offered with this role include comprehensive health coverage options like medical, dental, and vision insurance, access to various insurance plans such as accident and critical illness insurance, telemedicine, and enrollment in a 401(k) retirement savings plan. These benefits, combined with a competitive compensation package, position Towne Park as an employer of choice in the hospitality sector. Individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments with a passion for guest service and team leadership are encouraged to pursue this rewarding career opportunity.
