Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hotel environment preferred
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required
  • Effective communication with guests and team members
  • Knowledge of hotel amenities and local attractions
  • Ability to handle guests with patience and tact
  • Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
  • Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds
  • Physical stamina for standing, walking, running, and other movements
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner
  • Strong communication skills to engage with guests and answer questions
  • Knowledge of hotel services and local area attractions
  • Ability to handle guest interactions with patience, tact, and diplomacy
  • Proficiency in using luggage tags and claim checks accurately
  • Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
  • Ability to drive various vehicles including manual and automatic transmissions
  • Physical ability to lift and carry luggage up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform in a physically demanding environment
  • Capable of responding to physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and running

Job Duties

  • Greet arriving and departing guests warmly and sincerely
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles promptly and courteously, ensuring proper documentation
  • Handle luggage by reading tags, using guest names, and delivering securely
  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out including escorting guests to rooms
  • Coordinate taxis and transportation services for guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in guest service areas including lobby and parking
  • Deliver messages and items such as valet and laundry to guest rooms
  • Post daily events information in the lobby
  • Provide accurate knowledge about local attractions, hotel facilities, and upcoming events
  • Recognize and greet groups, VIPs, and repeat guests by name
  • Communicate effectively across shifts using inter-shift logs
  • Follow emergency procedures and assist guests as needed during emergencies
