Job Description
Caesars Entertainment is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality and gaming industry, renowned for delivering exceptional entertainment and service experiences. Operating some of the most iconic resorts and casinos in the world, including the Flamingo Las Vegas, Caesars is committed to creating extraordinary moments for its guests through world-class amenities, innovative entertainment, and outstanding service. The company's holistic mission, vision, and values guide every employee to uphold a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and sustainability, ensuring that both guests and team members thrive in a supportive and dynamic environment.
The Flamingo Las Vegas itself is one of the historic pillars of the Las Vegas Strip, founded in 1946 by Bugsy Siegel and famous for its vibrant tropical-themed resort and casino atmosphere. With over 3,500 rooms and suites, a massive 77,000 square foot casino floor, and a 15-acre lush backyard retreat, the Flamingo offers guests a unique blend of nostalgic charm and modern luxury. The resort attracts visitors seeking not only leisure and gaming but also an immersive hospitality experience defined by warmth, fun, and personal connection.
The Valet Runner position at Flamingo Las Vegas plays a pivotal role in ensuring that guests receive seamless and memorable service from the moment they arrive. This on-site role is ideal for energetic, customer-focused individuals who take pride in providing friendly, efficient, and personalized valet services. Valet Runners are responsible for receiving vehicles from guests, accurately completing parking documentation, and retrieving vehicles upon request, delivering keys and courteous communication to enhance the guest experience.
Core to the role is adherence to Caesars Entertainment's signature 10-5 rule, which emphasizes proactive, welcoming, and personable engagement with guests. Valet Runners serve as the first and last impression for many guests, thus ensuring professionalism, hospitality, and a positive attitude throughout their shift is essential. Tasks include guiding vehicles to the appropriate parking locations, managing traffic flow to maintain an efficient and enjoyable arrival and departure process, and handling each vehicle with care and responsibility.
Beyond the operational duties, the role demands a proactive approach to guest service, including anticipating needs, offering assistance without prompting, and effectively communicating hotel features or special offers. Valet Runners must be comfortable using various technology tools such as mobile devices, touch screens, and kiosks to streamline service delivery and uphold a sophisticated guest experience.
Candidates for this position must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have an operational driver’s license with a clean driving record, and demonstrate the ability to skillfully drive a wide range of vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions. Physical stamina is also critical, given the demands of working outdoors in varying weather conditions and the physical requirements of walking or running multiple miles per shift, lifting up to 75 pounds, and maneuvering stairs.
This role is perfect for individuals with strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service. Those who can maintain composure in high-pressure situations, effectively resolve guest concerns, and consistently display a well-groomed and professional appearance will thrive in this dynamic, fast-paced environment. Caesars Entertainment values diversity and inclusion, ensuring all team members have the opportunity to contribute and grow within a culture committed to respect, integrity, and collaboration.
By joining Caesars Entertainment as a Valet Runner at the iconic Flamingo Las Vegas, you become part of a prestigious organization dedicated to extraordinary service delivery, vibrant teamwork, and an inclusive work culture that supports your career development while providing guests with unforgettable experiences.
