Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years customer service experience where primary job duty is direct customer service
  • One year previous experience as a valet attendant preferred
  • Must have an operational driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to drive all types of vehicles including standard and automatic transmissions
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and maneuver stairs
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to walk or run more than 5 miles during a workday and stand for the duration of the shift
  • Must tolerate varying noise, temperature, light, vibration, crowds, and air quality conditions
  • Must respond calmly to crises and demanding situations involving guest or employee conflicts
  • Must speak, write, and understand English
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance and professional demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Team-oriented with a willingness to share credit and promote cooperation
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills even in emotional situations

Job Duties

  • Receive vehicle from guest and correctly fill out parking ticket surveying vehicle
  • Retrieve car from parking area and return key to guest
  • Consistently use the 10-5 rule by making eye contact and smiling at 10 feet and verbally acknowledging guest at 5 feet
  • Efficiently and accurately complete arrival and departure of each guest vehicle
  • Extend appropriate closing for all interactions providing a feeling of exceptional service
  • Maintain energy, enthusiasm, willingness to serve and demonstrate company service standards throughout shift
  • Proactively offer service and personalized recommendations anticipating guest needs
  • Drive all vehicles safely in accordance with state laws
  • Manage traffic to maximize space and ensure an enjoyable guest experience
  • Keep all personal vehicle settings intact without adjustments
  • Use technology tools such as cellphones, computers, touch screens, and kiosks for service delivery
  • Place beverage in departing vehicles as a goodwill gesture
  • Assist guests by giving directions, walking with them when possible or signaling appropriately
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and security guidelines
  • Respond calmly and professionally to guest complaints and crisis situations
