Job Description
Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR) is a premier hospitality and entertainment destination located in Washington State, known for its vibrant casino, hotel, and dining experiences. It is a part of the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe's ventures, contributing to the local economy and community development. MCR is committed to providing exceptional service and entertainment to its guests, offering a variety of gaming options, exquisite dining, and comfortable accommodations. Employing a team that upholds these standards, MCR fosters a professional yet welcoming atmosphere for both visitors and staff members.
This opportunity is for the position of a Valet Attendant at Muckleshoot Casino Resort. This role is integral to enriching the guest experience by delivering high-quality service in vehicle management and guest assistance. The valet attendant is responsible for greeting guests, safely parking and retrieving their vehicles, and ensuring that all interactions reflect the resort's values of professionalism, safety, and hospitality. The position offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $17.13 per hour, supplemented by discretionary performance bonuses twice a year, making it a rewarding career both financially and personally.
The valet attendant's duties go beyond just parking cars. They are ambassadors of the resort's brand, demonstrating excellent customer service skills, assisting with guest luggage, and providing information about the resort and surrounding areas to enhance the overall guest experience. Safety is paramount, as is the maintenance of a secure and orderly parking environment. The role requires vigilance in traffic direction, operational duties related to opening and closing the parking facility, and strict adherence to safety protocols to protect guests and their vehicles.
Ideal candidates for this role will have a valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record, experience driving various vehicle types including stick shift transmissions, and familiarity with the local roadways. The position demands excellent communication skills, physical stamina to manage prolonged periods of walking, standing, and running, and the ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude in all circumstances, including adverse weather conditions. As a member of the MCR team, the valet attendant will also participate in upholding the casino’s mission, vision, and values, contributing to a collaborative team environment that prioritizes guest satisfaction and safety.
Working at Muckleshoot Casino Resort as a valet attendant offers more than just a paycheck. Team members enjoy benefits such as complimentary meals, covered parking, and company-paid gaming licenses (Class A and Class B). This role provides a unique opportunity to develop professionally within a dynamic and supportive workplace. The valet attendant position is suited for individuals passionate about hospitality, guest service, and vehicle management, seeking to contribute to a leading resort’s success while growing their own career in a supportive environment.
