Job Description
Our esteemed establishment is a premier hotel that prides itself on delivering unmatched hospitality and exemplary service to every guest who walks through our doors. Renowned for its luxurious accommodations, exceptional amenities, and a commitment to guest satisfaction, our hotel has positioned itself as a standout destination in the hospitality industry. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where guests feel valued, comforted, and attended to with professionalism and courtesy. Our team is comprised of passionate individuals who thrive on teamwork and exceed expectations by providing personalized services that enhance the overall guest experience.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Valet to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our parking and guest assistance services. As a Valet, you will be the first and last point of physical contact guests have with our hotel, making your role essential in shaping their overall impression. Responsibilities for this position include opening hotel main doors, assisting guests with entering and leaving the property, and providing help with vehicle doors. You will greet guests warmly within 25 to 30 seconds with professional, fast, and friendly service, communicating parking procedures clearly and courteously. Precision in handling guest vehicles is paramount, as you will be required to tag vehicle keys with important details like date, time, registration number, and more, ensuring the security of both the vehicles and the keys. Your expertise in driving and operating both manual and automatic transmission vehicles safely is critical to excel in this role.
In addition to vehicle handling, the Valet will provide guests with information about the hotel’s facilities, amenities, services, and any special events. Monitoring and directing vehicle traffic on the property and maintaining safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas and entrance points are integral duties. Incident reporting involving vehicles, including damage or theft, is also part of the role to ensure thorough documentation and quick resolution of any issues. The position requires a proactive approach in following up with guests to ensure their concerns are addressed satisfactorily and that their experience is memorable. We are looking for a Valet who embodies excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work flexible hours including holidays, nights, and weekends to meet the dynamic needs of our business.
This full-time role demands physical stamina, as you will be engaged in frequent standing, walking, and occasional strenuous tasks like lifting weights up to 75lbs. You will also operate in varying weather conditions and environments while ensuring safety and professionalism at all times. Licensing requirements include a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and possession of an Alcohol Awareness Card, demonstrating commitment to responsible service. Join us to become a vital part of a welcoming team dedicated to enhancing guest experiences and supporting the ongoing success of our hotel.
