The role of Valet at ABM is perfect for individuals new to the workforce or those returning with limited prior work experience and education. Serving as a Valet requires the ability to deliver professional, courteous, and compassionate guest service at all times, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all guests. In this role, the incumbent is tasked with managing vehicle traffic flow effectively and safely while providing helpful and clear communication regarding valet procedures and directions. The Valet plays a pivotal role in enforcing parking policies, including identifying illegal parking and promptly securing vehicles. Interaction with guests is central to the position, which includes assisting with loading and unloading vehicles, securing guest keys, and managing valet payments with accuracy and integrity.

This position demands keen attention to operational details such as forecasting traffic flow peaks, coordinating extra support during busy periods, tallying tip pools, and reconciling daily revenue. A strong focus on safety is paramount, requiring the valet to operate, park, and retrieve vehicles by strictly adhering to all traffic laws, facility policies, and pedestrian regulations. Working conditions may include extended periods outdoors in various weather climates, so durability and a positive attitude towards working in an unprotected environment are essential.
